World No.1 Nelly Korda and Haeran Ryu have split the year’s first four majors between them, with Royal Lytham now demanding a different kind of control from every contender. A win at Lytham for either player would give her three major titles in 2026 and equal the record for the most women’s major victories in a calendar year. The pair tee off alongside 2024 champion Lydia Ko at 8.42am on Thursday.

Woad arrives off the back of a maiden LPGA Tour win this season at May’s Kroger Queen City Championship in May. She tees off Thursday 8.31 a.m. alongside Akie Iwai and Andrea Lee.
Charley Hull launches her latest bid to win a first major this week, having come close to a maiden major title when she finished T2 at Royal Porthcawl 12 months ago. She’s out at 1.26pm on Thursday alongside Hannah Green and Brooke Henderson.
Yamashita defends, Hall returns to the scene of her triumph
Defending champion Miyu Yamashita looks to become the first back-to-back winner since Yani Tseng, out in the late-early wave at 1.15 p.m. alongside world No.2 Jeeno Thitikul and Lauren Coughlin. 2018 champion Georgia Hall, the last winner at Royal Lytham, plays with fellow former champion Hinako Shibuno and 2026 Women’s Amateur champion Valentine Delon at 12.42 p.m.
