Fiona Reilly, Apparel Creative Director for PING Europe, has spent more than two decades shaping the look and feel of the brand’s women’s collections. Below, she shares insight into the Autumn/Winter 2025–26 collection, the pieces she’s loving this season, and her advice for women looking to build confidence through what they wear.
Meet Fiona Reilly
I’m Fiona Reilly, Apparel Creative Director for PING Europe. I have been with the brand for over 20 years and am responsible for managing the product creation team, designing and developing our technical golf apparel range for the European market. My background is in performance outdoor sportswear, so bringing my knowledge of performance fabrics and functional design to golf apparel has allowed me to blend timeless, classic design with functionality.
PING’s Fashion Philosophy
How would you describe your brand’s fashion philosophy?
As a brand steeped in the rich traditions of the game, we believe in creating authentic golf apparel that’s engineered to help golfers perform on the course while maintaining a sense of effortless style off it. Our designs blend classic, clean, and timeless heritage aesthetics with a modern edge, delivering pieces that honour golf’s traditions yet embrace today’s performance standards. Every garment is crafted to feel as good as it looks – rooted in authenticity, refined in detail, and built for those who value both heritage and innovation.
What Defines the Autumn/Winter 2025–26 Collection?
What makes your Autumn/Winter 2025–26 collection stand out?
Our AW25 collection captures the spirit of the modern golfer – where performance and style share equal ground.
This season, comfort was a real focus for us. The goal was to ensure that when playing golf in colder conditions, the overall experience feels like a protective warm hug. We work closely with leading fabric mills to ensure our materials deliver both comfort and performance. Every fabric selected had to have the desired soft hand feel, the right level of peaching or brushing, and insulation that is pillowy light and airy. The team has worked hard to achieve this, resulting in our most premium-looking winter collection to date.
The designs are more minimal to allow the fabrics and textures to take centre stage, creating a luxurious, timeless aesthetic that speaks to every style and preference.
A Designer’s Favourite Piece
Which piece from this collection is your personal favourite, and why?
For me, the women’s Samantha reversible vest is a must-have layering piece this Autumn/Winter. It’s super soft and lightweight, with Clo Insulation’s Eco Pluma providing a warm, synthetic alternative to down. Because of its reversibility, it’s incredibly versatile – allowing for a range of different looks when paired with our coordinating long-sleeve tops and mid-layers.

Key Trends in Women’s Golf Fashion
What key trends in women’s golf fashion are you most excited about this season?
We take a timeless approach to design, so for me, it’s about creating different silhouettes and layered looks that keep styles modern and contemporary – like the shorter length of the Samantha vest, which looks great layered over our long-sleeve tops such as the Jasmine.
I’m also excited about the trend towards texture and more subtle, micro-scale patterns. The Catherine fleece jacket features a beautiful textured panel that elevates its clean, solid-colour design. Our prints this season take inspiration from the soft blur trend, creating shadowy, tonal patterns and micro textures such as small diamonds for a more minimal look.

Designing for On- and Off-Course Wear
Golf clothing is increasingly being worn both on and off the course. How does your brand design for this crossover?
In recent years, there’s been an influx of fashion brands entering the golf apparel market with a focus on off-course styling. We, however, unapologetically remain true to our USP – and that is golf. We’re an authentic, golf-only brand focused on developing apparel designed with the golfer in mind – helping them look and play their best through performance-led fabrics and cuts that prevent restriction during play.
Yet, through our clean design language, we’re able to bridge the gap between performance and refined lifestyle wear, making the transition from the fairway to the clubhouse and beyond effortless.
Styling Advice for Women Golfers
What advice would you give women choosing outfits to suit their body shape and style?
We want to empower female golfers to look and feel confident in our apparel – and that starts with comfort and fit. When choosing golf outfits, we suggest focusing on silhouettes that complement your body shape, move with you, and use fabrics that feel effortless – ultimately, you play your best when you’re comfortable in your own skin. Don’t be afraid to layer; playing with different lengths can flatter your shape by creating definition and balance.
Our collections are designed to flatter a variety of body shapes, and we offer dress sizes to allow for a more tailored fit. Our trousers come in multiple silhouettes to suit different preferences. The Vic trouser features a tapered cut in a 7/8 length designed to sit above the ankle – a flattering shape that creates the illusion of longer legs. The Kaitlyn II winter trouser is a classic straight cut suited to all body shapes, with a variety of leg lengths available to ensure the perfect fit for every height.
Fabrics with a high elastane content work best in closer-fitting silhouettes, offering comfort and freedom of movement – our Abigale fleece is cut with flexibility in mind. For a looser fit, look for fabrics with natural stretch through construction, such as knitwear or mid-weight fleeces. Great examples from our collection include the Lyla and Catherine fleeces, as well as the Melodie lined knitted sweater.
