Heritage Resorts, winner of the prestigious World Travel Awards ‘Best Golf Resort In Mauritius’, has introduced a new Golf Passport allowing guests to play on 3 of the island’s premier courses.
Visitors will be able to tee it up at the naturally undulating championship level Heritage Golf Club designed by Peter Matkovich, the Tamarina Golf Club which sits at the foot of the dramatic Montagne du Rempart and overlooks the cool waters of Tamarin Bay, and the majestic Paradis Golf Club which is flanked by the Indian Ocean and owes much of its design to Tony Johnstone.
The Basic Pass includes unlimited golf at Heritage Golf Club plus a round of golf at Tamarina and Paradis, priority tee times, significant discounts on equipment hire and food and beverage options at Heritage Golf Club, as well as a further 20% discount on golf lessons and a tailored golf massage at the Seven Colours Spa, whilst the Golf Bliss Pass includes all of the aforementioned, plus room upgrades, hole in one insurance and free helicopter landing fees at the three courses.
Flanked by panoramic views of crystal clear lagoons to one side of the course, with rugged mountains to the other, and covering 100 acres of tropical terrain, with natural ponds, lakes and palm trees dominating the fairways, Heritage Golf Club can be a demanding test on golfers of all abilities.
So to help you plot your way around, Heritage Resorts have just had state of the art GPS systems installed on all of their golf buggies. Designed to help shave precious shots from your score, the systems offer 3D flyovers of each hole, high-res colour images of each hole with yardages and layout, electronic scoring options and convenient food and beverage ordering options, meaning your end of round beer can be waiting for you once you step off the 18th!
The Basic Pass is priced at £240 pp, and the Golf Bliss Pass priced at £360 pp.
