Looking for a trip to one of the most gorgeous stretches of golfing coastline? You can now experience the three Gary Player designed courses at Fancourt on the famous Garden Route in South Africa.
The resort has unveiled the first ever Fancourt International tournament from 4 – 8 December 2017. The 3-day competition has been designed to ensure all amateur golfers participating get to enjoy the rare privilege of playing all 3 of its prestigious Gary Player designed courses, namely Outeniqua, Montagu and The Links – all ranked in Golf Digest’s Top 20.
For an all-inclusive package of ZAR 19 515.00 (about £1,200) per person sharing, players can enjoy four night’s accommodation in the award-winning Fancourt Hotel, including accommodation in a classic room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis as well as pre-dinner drinks, entertainment, daily half-way house, golf carts on the Outeniqua and Montagu courses and various memorabilia. Rooms can also be upgraded to luxury rooms or 1-bed suites.
With a luxury-spa, four restaurants, two five-star hotels, and three celebrated golf courses and a golf academy, Fancourt delivers an extraordinary leisure experience and is the perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route – so golfers might want to consider taking the whole family along –or extending their stay. Popular day trips from the estate include Oudtshoorn (ostrich farms and Cango Caves), Knysna Elephant Park, the Winelands (Franschhoek) or hop on the 15 minute shuttle to nearby beaches at Heralds Bay.
