The PGA Centenary Course
Nestling in Auchterarder, near Perth and Stirling, Gleneagles is truly a luxurious resort and when it comes to detail, no stone is left unturned. In 2015, when Ennismore took ownership, a multi- million pound investment was made to refurbish and enhance specific areas of the property and coupled with the already excellent quality of service and the array of pursuits, it lifts its offering to another level.
Today’s Gleneagles has retained its palatial charm and grandiose ambience, albeit with a subtle modern twist, that first attracted high society when it opened in 1924. All 232 bedrooms including 27 suites are plush with elegant furnishings and modern amenities. There is a wide range of restaurants and bars, from Michelin- starred dining to a more informal affair, and a variety of activities including archery, fly fishing, shooting, gundog training, tennis, and horse riding. Guests can also take a swim in one of two pools at the health club, or relax in the spa.
Of course, the three golf courses - the King’s, the Queen’s and The PGA Centenary Course - will always be at the heart of the resort. On the King’s Course, holes are not overlooked by each other and they blend perfectly with the landscape, offering dramatic views of the
surrounding countryside. The characteristics of the Queen’s Course are not too dissimilar to those of the King’s including the threat of bunkers, rolling fairways and a shared halfway house, but the Queen’s woodland setting is more intimate. Their younger sibling, The PGA Centenary, is a modern design, set to challenge the world’s greatest golfers, like some of the best female players at the 2019 Solheim Cup.

IRELAND- THE K CLUB
The K Club is a grand Irish country retreat, set amid 550-acres of pristine parkland on a mile long stretch of the River Liffey, and located only 30 minutes from Dublin Airport and city centre. The elegant 19th century Georgian mansion estate, set on the former site of Straffan House, was restored to a luxury hotel and country club in 1991.
Accommodation is as one would expect from a property of this standard, it is luxurious, extremely comfortable and each of the 134 bedrooms are bespoke with individual soft furnishings, art work and fine furniture.
Home to two championship Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses - The Ryder Cup Course and The Smurfit Course - The K Club has hosted numerous international tournaments. Guests can also enjoy a variety of other activities including kayaking, horse riding, falconry, fishing, clay-pigeon shooting, walking, cycling, wine cellar tours, whisky tasting and so much more. The K Spa at The K Club is one of the finest in Europe and earlier this year launched a new partnership with the Natura Bissé skincare brand.
