Quinta do Lago has enhanced its reputation as one of Europe’s premier stay-and-play destinations following the acquisition of the Magnolia hotel.
Celebrating its 45th anniversary, the prestigious Portuguese resort has added the chic Miami-style boutique hotel to its portfolio of accommodation options, making it the perfect location for golfers and families to enjoy the all year-round temperate climate.
Situated on the Algarve, just 15 minutes from Faro airport, Quinta do Lago boasts three championship golf courses – Laranjal, the North and South – and Magnolia’s golf guests can now take advantage of some incredible packages to soak up the winter sun with three, five or seven-night stays.
A three-night break between November 2017 and February 2018 with two rounds of golf on the North and Laranjal courses starts from just £325 (€364), while a five-night stay with four rounds across all three courses is available for £606 (€678). Pricing for a week stay including five rounds of golf can is only £787 (€881).
All pricing is per person sharing a twin or double room and includes breakfast and free access to the sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and gym. There is a 10 per cent discount for bookings made before Wednesday, December 20.
The 74-room Magnolia looks set to become one of the hottest destinations this winter, boasting a vibrant and fashionable bar and a totally revamped menu under the guidance of head chef Tom Briggs, previously of Soho House and the Hoxton Grill.
In-line with clean-eating trends, the hotel’s LIVE kitchen will serve freshly prepared dishes all day, such as nutritional salads, superfoods and seasonal daily options. As a guilty pleasure, golfers can indulge in the kitchen’s delectable The Mag Burger.
