See the Dorset flower show at The Dorset Golf Resort! The arrival of spring has kicked off an explosion of colour all around the 27 holes of championship golf amongst the Scandinavian Log Homes.
One of the unique features of The Dorset Golf Resort is the wide variety of flowers that feature around the complex throughout the year.
A sea of yellow Gorse has lit up the Lakeland & Parkland course which combining with the cherry blossom trees bursting into bloom is a welcome sight after the winter months. The real show case is yet to come occurring every year without fail around the distinctive Woodland course.
Carved through a rhododendron forest each hole will be lined with wall to wall flowers. These large shrubs showcase intense pink, lavender, white and purple blooms and can actually be found flourishing throughout the resort even framing a number of the houses. This year is certainly not set to disappoint.
The display is set to start somewhere near the end of May and typically lasts for a couple of weeks. It’s breathtaking to see and let alone play amongst - a real treat!
The mix of great course conditions, the 5 star Gold Award Log Homes and this floral display, makes it an ideal time to book a golf break - and the addition of the new Oakland Cottage, a £700,000 luxury cottage, is now ready to rent.
