East Anglian resort Stoke by Nayland is at the top of our winter golf break wishlist this year thanks to a new, state-of-the-art simulator and great value packages.

Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa

Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort has introduced a unique Winter Golf package this year. The East Anglian venue has just installed a state-of-the-art Foresight GC Quad Golf Simulator, which will be free to use for guests who stay and play this winter.

This means that up to four players at a time can enjoy a free hour playing the likes of Carnoustie, Wentworth, and plenty of other famous courses around the world. Order food and drink from the clubhouse whilst you play, and if you need more time on the simulator, it's just another £30 per hour for up to four people. Use the simulator to practice swing or take on your friends with longest drive and nearest the pin competitions, even if it is dark or raining outside. It’s the perfect way to enhance your winter golf break.

Susanna Rendall, Managing Director of the family-owned venue said: “Visitors to Stoke by Nayland have really enjoyed using the Simulator – especially if the weather isn’t great outside.”

“We have also invested in the installation of extensive drainage systems on both courses which means that we can offer two fantastic, championship courses for twelve months of the year."

"In addition, there are permanent buggy paths around the 18 holes of the Gainsborough Course for all year round use, so we hope that many golfers who haven’t yet tried our courses will come this year to enjoy some great winter golfing conditions.”

The stay and play winter package at Stoke by Nayland starts from just £85 per person and includes a round of golf, three-course dinner, an overnight stay at the AA 4star hotel and breakfast the following day. There's also an option to upgrade to unlimited rounds of golf for just £15 per person.
