Finding it hard to decide on a venue for an away-day or weekend with the girls? Or do you fancy entering an Open competition. How about a trip to Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club.

Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club, located in the tranquil village of Brockenhurst and set in the heart of Hampshire's New Forest, is a real golfing gem. Celebrating its centenary year, the Harry Colt-designed, 18 hole course, set amongst a mixture of woodland. Celebrating its centenary year, the Harry Colt-designed, 18 hole course, set amongst a mixture of woodland and heathland, is perfect for groups of varying standards who want a relatively challenging yet really enjoyable round of golf. A typical members’ club, the 5,616 yard course is laid out in three loops of six holes with some interesting par 3s and ‘makeable’ par 5s. A relatively easy walking course, with great fairways, interesting greens, and stunning views of the surounding countryside- make sure you watch out for the deers and ponies!

The restaurant has a good menu to choose from for your post-round refreshments/meal and can be enjoyed in the club’s newly refurbished private dining room, a separate area in the main lounge or, weather permitting, on the lovely terrace that offers beautiful views of the course. The ladies’ locker room is more than adequate and can easily cater for larger groups.

Whatever the number in your group, Neil Hallam-Jones, the club’s charming General Manager, and Club Professional, Kevin Saunders, are happy to discuss any special requirements to ensure your day runs smoothly. The friendliness of the staff and members ensured our visit to Brokenhurst GC was memorable. It’s definitely one to consider. You won’t be disappointed.
