The cruise, which sails around the Canary Islands and Morocco, will be the first Thomson Cruises' itinerary offering the optional extra to play three courses, in three countries, in just seven days.
The package includes 18 holes on golf courses across the Canary Islands and Morocco: Meloneras Golf Club, Gran Canaria; Santo da Serra Golf Club, Madeira and Golf du Soleil, Morocco.
If that wasn’t enough, free transfers to and from the ship, a golf host on-board, secure storage of golf clubs on the ship and free transportation of golf clubs on flights from the UK is also included.
Prizes are also up for grabs, with the 18-hole matches played in ‘four ball’ format, with players pitted against each other in pairs. Players must be over 18 and can join as a group or as an individual, with solo golf players assigned a partner on board. Tee times are staggered and the minimum handicap for gentlemen and ladies is 30.
As an added extra there will be a number of exclusive on-board activities for customers who purchase the golf package, as well as their non-golf travelling companions. The on-board golf host will provide welcome drinks for golfers to meet their competition, a ‘Farewell dinner’ to celebrate the winners and exclusive spa treatment offers for companions who are happier being pampered than putting on the green.

This cruise visits Santa Cruz, Tenerife; Las Palmas, Gran Canaria; Santa Cruz de la Palma, La Palma; Funchal, Madeira; Agadir, Morocco; Arrecife, Lanzarote. Based on two adults sharing a deck 1 or 2 inside cabin on a full-board basis, this cruise departs on 28 March 2014 from Gatwick and Manchester airports (other regional airports available at a supplement).
