When Leif Olsen stepped onto the par three 15th at the Canadian Open he had only made $23,049 from his five years on the PGA Tour but his luck was about to change. With a single shot, he more than tripled his career earnings by holing out with an amazingly lucky shot that bounced off another ball and spun backwards into the hole.

An ace on a par 4 is rare enough, but banking one out of a bunker and into a hole? Richard Green's hole-in-one in the Pro-Am of the Oates Victorian Championship, on the PGA Tour of Australasia is nearly unbelievable.

Tiger Woods- Pheonix Open 1997

Woods might only have been 21 in 1997 but he'd already notched up 3 PGA Tour victories. This hole-in-one came in the third round of the Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. Although the stands that would give the 16th hole its "stadium" effect had yet to be built, this might still be the loudest hole-in-one in the history of the game.

James Kingston- Dunhill Championships 2002

Maybe the luckiest shot in the history of the game. We've heard of friendly bounces, but this takes it to the next level.
