Hole 16- Cypress Point Golf Club
Located on one of the world's most exclusive golf courses, the 16th at Cypress Point is a bit of a beast. From the men's tees it requires a 230-yard carry over the Pacific Ocean to reach the fairway, only for the golfer to then thread their approach shot to a mid-sized green guarded by strategically placed bunkers. Add in inevitable crosswinds and anyone making par will be walking off with a smile on their face.

A pilgrimage to play Old Head Links in Ireland is a trip that all golfers must take. Old-fashioned, quirky and with some of the most spectacular views in golf, the links is a true gem. Nowhere is this truer than on Hole 18 which, with a lighthouse and ocean as its back drop and numerous daunting routes off the tee, resembles something more likely to be found at miniature crazy golf than on a championship golf course. A truly unique experience.
Hole 7-10- Brickyard Crossing Golf Course, U.S
The Pete Dye designed Brickyard Crossing Golf Course in Indianapolis is one of the world's most unique golf courses. Whilst most of the course runs alongside the Indianapolis NASCAR Racetrack, four of the holes can only be reached by crossing over the track and can be found within the heart of the speedway itself. Unsurprisingly the course closes on race days to avoid any golf-meets-speedway accidents.
Hole 14- Coeur d’Alene Golf Club, US
The World's Only Floating Green at Coeur d’Alene Golf Club
Anyone lucky enough to tee up at this Idaho course is in for a real treat. Formerly voted “America’s most beautiful resort golf course” by Golf Digest, the course sits on the banks of the Lake Coeur d’Alene and wows golfers with its setting and flawless condition.
The jewel in the course's crown is the par-3 14th, which features the world's only moving green. The hole's position is moved on a regular basis, making it only accessible by boat, and can measure anything from 65 to 210 yards.
Hole 19- Legend Golf & Safari Resort, South Africa
South Africa's Legend Golf & Safari Resort is a must-visit destination for all true golf enthusiasts. It also happens to boast one of golf's most unusual holes. After tackling the championship course players can take a helicopter up to the 19th hole to try their hand at the longest and highest par-3 in the world. If you manage to score a hole-in-one at the 430-yard tester (be sure to bear in mind the fourteen hundred feet elevation when making your club selection) you will head home with a million dollars—which means you can buy your own helicopter.
Camp Bonifas, South Korea
If you're thinking the above might be a bit of a bore, how about throwing land mines into the mix? That’s right, land mines. Located on a military base in South Korea's demilitarised zone, the Camp Bonifas course might only be composed of one hole, but one hole will almost certainly be enough. Named the 'World's Most Dangerous Golf Course' by Sports Illustrated, the 194-yard par three is surrounded on three sides by mine fields.
