Former World Number One and 27 LPGA Tour winner Lorena Ochoa, who retired at the age of 28 in order to start a family, has given birth to her third child.


Former World Number One and 27 LPGA Tour winner Lorena Ochoa, who retired at the age of 28 in order to start a family, has given birth to her third child.

She posted the picture of the adorable new edition to her family via her instagram account on Friday. Her new son Diego is the latest edition to the family of five which includes his silblings Pedro and Julia.

Ochoa famously retired from golf in 2010 whilst at the peak of her career in order to devote herself to her marriage and her philanthropic efforts, expressing a desire to start a family. At the time she was ranked as the best golfer in the world.

Alongside being a full time Mum Lorena now focus her efforts of the Lorena Ochoa foundation which focuses on improve the education of the poorest children in her native city Guadalajara.
