Ever dreamt of a job where you just play golf? You could be about to swing into that dream post as Visit Scotland Golf are offering one lucky individual just that.

Let's start with the small print- this isn't an official job as far as pay checks and resumes are concerned, and it is only for two weeks, but, who cares, right?! This is your chance to play golf every day for two weeks across Scotland, the ‘Home of Golf’. It’s where the game began and is one of the best, if not the best golfing destination on the planet.

Visit Scotland are looking for the right candidate to play golf in all seven golfing regions around Scotland in a golf extravaganza. Playing some of the best courses, unearthing unique golf experiences, and sampling amazing Scottish hospitality. Play a Ryder Cup course, discover where The Open began, and experience a golf course that was voted the second best in the world.

What’s the Catch?

You'll be expected to document, through blogs, videosm and social media, your experiences on each course, at the places you stay, where you eat, and the areas you explore, so that you can put together a 'golfer’s dream come true' Golf Guide to Scotland.

The "Job"

  • You'll play a total of fourteen rounds in fourteen days; Play two rounds of golf in each of the seven regions of Scotland 
  • Find out all there is to know at each of the golf courses
  • Sample food and drink at the 19th hole of each club
  • Create written blogs and vlogs for YouTube, as well as Instagram posts and stories about all of your experiences
  • At the end of your trip, create a complete Golf Guide to Scotland that documents your adventure in Scotland, the Home of Golf
  • All greenfees, lunch at each courses, B&B accommodation, and car hire or travel to Scotland will be covered for you and a friend
  • You will receive an allowance of £750.00 each for the duration off your trip

And you can even take your best golfing friend along with you!

How to Apply

To apply, simply create a short, 60-90-second video reviewing your own course in the most fun way - you can use drone footage, phones, cameras or whatever works best for you, then submit your entry here, where you can also find full terms and conditions.

When

Applications open on 9 July and close on 27 July, and the winner will be announced 3 August. The lucky winner will start their Scottish golfing experience from Saturady 1 September until Sunday 16 September.
