In honour of International Women's Day, we asked all our readers to share their appreciation for all their kind, strong and wonderful female golfing friends.
"This is me with my golfing besties over a 8 year period of fantastic golf and tours.
My life would be dramatically worse off without the game of golf or my golfing besties!"

"These girls kept me going during 2020, I got made redundant from my job and they were there encouraging me to stay positive, because of that and a change in mindset, I dropped from 13 to 5 handicap! Love these ladies 💖"

"Kilkeel Golf Club - Lady President in the middle.
She's a great woman!
Should say our Lady president was there when I first joined the club as a teenager & she's still the first one to take new lady members out to get their handicaps."

"Jill, Esther Tina and Jeannie, and we are members of Burton on Trent Golf club. I’m already starting to arrange possible away days and away nights!"

"My best buddy is Linda Read. AKA bunny ears!!
She is always up for a laugh and cannot resist doing bunny ears wherever we go, from Arizona to China you will always see photos of us with me having bunny ears. She even did it on the official winners photo at the W&G golf day at Silvermere. Mind you she was mortified when it was published in the magazine. 😊 😊
She’s great fun to be with, plays a great game of golf and tennis. We went to Mark Warner hotel in Rhodes for a week. We didn’t win the tennis but we did win a prize for drinking the most Pimm’s at the tennis sessions.
We are known as the 2 Lindas and I am proud to be her buddy. Looking forward to all the days out we have signed up for. Best wishes, Linda (Rich)"
"This is me (Rachel Child) & my friend Andie Fearnley, we were best friends for many years in Essex but lost touch for 30 years, 5 years ago Andie randomly moved to Buxton, where I live now, our friendship rekindled we decided to try golf as our partners played. From an evening of Prosecco and putting run by Cavendish Golf Club to now 2.5 years later, I am Lady Vice Captain this year and Andie is our 'Women's Golf Champion' as we have recently registered with the R&A for the Women in Golf Charter. All this from a friendship formed by a 7 & 8 year old over a guinea pig."
