We can't help but be impressed by David Howell's commitment to the golfing cause this week after he went topless to play out of a water hazard during the BMW SA Open.
The former Ryder Cup team member and English golfer went shirtless for his shot on the 10th hole at the South African Open after hitting his approach into a water hazard. Apparently he did so in order to avoid getting mud on his shirt. The things men do to avoid doing the washing!
Howell's decision isn't entirely unprecedented. Henrik Stenson went one step further during the 2009 World Golf Championships when he stripped down to his underwear. Just in case you'd forgotten, here's a look back!
