Lydia Ko make it 22, Helen Briem wins her first LET event, whilst Mimi Rhodes gets her first pro win after 16 days. A busy week across the tours.
Here's a look back on what happened on tour last week. We'll be sharing the winners, shots and moments of the week.
Winner's circle - week ending 22nd September
Here's who won:
LPGA Tour - Lydia Ko hadn't been back in tournament action since her AIG Women's Open victory at the end of August, she admitted she wasn't sure where her game would be at after three weeks off, “I had the most unbelievable three weeks in Europe, and after having another three weeks off, you're not entirely sure what it's going to be like."

It turns out that what it's going to be like is back-to-back victories. During the final round, the 27-year-old shot a blemish free nine-under-par 63 to claim the Kroger Queen City Championship by five shots, her 22nd LPGA title.

The LPGA now moves to Rogers, Arkansas for the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.
LET - After dominating recent months on the LET Access Series, it was Helen Briem's turn to continue her fantastic form over to the LET. The 19-year-old, who turned professional in July (when she was 18) after winning three times on the LET Access Series.

She came into the La Sella Open after winning the Rose Ladies Open at Brocket Hall at the beginning of September, her first as a professional.
After a bogey-free final round of 66, the German can now add LET winner to her already growing CV. It's really exciting to think what Briem may do next.

The LET now heads to France for the 2024 edition of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France which will be held at Golf Barriere, Deauville
LET Access Series - Another great story from the week is Mimi Rhodes winning her first professional title at the Lavaux Ladies Open. Rhodes was part of the winning GB&I Curtis Cup team at the beginning of September. She subsequently went pro and just 16 days later the English player has won her first event on the LET Access Series.

The victory came after a play-off against fellow Englishwoman Billie-Jo Smith. Upon winning the 22-year-old said: “I’m super happy and over the moon. It makes me very excited for the future."

The LETAS now has a 12-day break before returning to Spain for the Calatayud Ladies Open, the final event of the season.
Epson Tour - Jenny Bae claims third career victory at the 2024 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout

The week started with Jenny Bae as the leader at the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout, and the week ended the same way. Bae went wire-to-wire for the second time in her career and did so in her last two victories.
Despite not having a spectacular final round compared to some of her competitors, Jenny Bae's resilience shone through as she managed the golf course all week with precision and patience. Mystic Creek Golf Club presented a tough challenge, but the Georgia native handled it with poise. The final round for Bae was a battle against the course more than the field, as she never let go of the solo lead throughout the whole final round.
A par on 18 was good enough for Bae to claim her third career Epson Tour victory and move her to No. 7 in the Race for the Card with one event remaining.
"It feels really special, really great," said the 23-year-old. "I can definitely carry on the confidence I have right now into the final the final tournament in Indian Wells. I feel like this year it's been a little rough. It has been a year with a lot of ups and downs. There's been a lot of stress and pressure, but I think this definitely gives me time to just reflect on myself and understand that I am on the right track."
The Epson Tour heads to Indian Wells, California for the highly anticipated Epson Tour Championship starting October 3rd and finishing on October 6th. At the conclusion of the event, the top-15 players in the Race for the Card will be awarded LPGA Tour cards for the 2025 season.
Men's professional tour results
DP World - It was one of the biggest weeks on the DP World Tour as they rolled into Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship. It is always a highlight for the players and thousands of spectators.
It was a thrilling week from start to finish, with Rory McIlroy bringing his start quality and play to the West Course. In the end, it had to be decided by a play-off, with McIlroy, Billy Horschel and Thriston Lawrence all tied at 20-under-par.
McIlroy would have hoped to make amends for not only missing out on winning but also a potential play-off at last week's Irish Open. He had had a chance in regulation to get ahead of Lawrence after a stunning eagle on 17 but he could not find the birdie he needed on 18. Horschel did find the birdie he needed, which got him into the play-off.
As all three players headed back down 18 and it was Lawrence who would find water and with birdies from McIlroy and Horschel, they would play 18 again.
Having spent the week holing some seriously impressive putts, it was the 2021 BMW PGA Championship winner Horschel who secured his second title with an eagle on the second extra hole.
Jubilation for Horschel and another second place finish for McIlroy: "Two weeks in a row I've played well, just not quite well enough. But I'm happy with where my game is and happy where it's trending."
Whilst champion Horschel said: "My heart was pounding on the last couple shots, the last couple holes, and especially in the play-off, but it's always fun being in those situations."
The DP World Tour now heads to Spain for the acciona Open de España presented by Madrid, whilst there is Presidents Cup action at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada.
LIV Golf - Australia-based Ripper GC were victorious in the LIV Golf League Team Championship.
Shot of the week
Pablo Larrazábal may not have made the cut at the BMW PGA Championship but this shot has been watched over 260 thousand times on X - it's quite phenomenal, so we thought we would share...
Moment of the week
There is something very wholesome about a Billy Horschel win, he is a popular figure amongst British golf fans and a win at Wentworth almost feels like a home win due to his enduring love of West Ham United. During the week, the American holed some incredible putts.
On Saturday he went on a run of seven birdies in a row and the look on McIroy's face after the sixth one sums up what it must've been like to watch it unfold...
Although it lacks a lot of the hype that the Solheim and Ryder Cups have, if you like team golf then you'll be pleased to hear that the Presidents Cup is this week. The LPGA will be playing for one of the biggest purses outside the Majors at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, whilst it will be interesting to see how Helen Briem can continue her extraordinary run of form in France.
