We recap the last week on tour where Ayaka Furue claimed her first Major, Bob MacIntyre won to the delight of Scotland and there was also a double home win for Sergio Garcia
Here's a look back on what happened on tour last week. We'll be sharing the winners, shots and moments of the week.
Winner's circle - week ending 14th July
Here's who won:
LPGA Tour & LET- It was the fourth women's Major of the season, with 132 players teeing it up at the Amundi Evian Championship.
For a lot of the final round, it seemed that the competition was down to two players - Lauren Coughlin and Stephanie Kyriacou. However, their playing partner Ayaka Furue had other ideas. The Japanese player, shot five-under-par for her final five holes, with an eagle on the last hole to claim her first Major Championship. The win will hopefully help with the disappointment of missing out on representing Japan at the Olympics, which had been her biggest goal this season.

The LPGA now heads back to America and the Dana Open at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. The LET heads to Holland and the Dutch Ladies Open at Hilversumsche Golf Club.
Epson Tour - Iacobelli Wins fifth career Epson Tour title at the Hartford HealthCare Women's Championship

The Sunday marathon of golf at the Hartford HealthCare Women's Championship ended dramatically, a common occurrence for Great River Golf Club. Following last year's seven-hole play-off was going to be tough, but Daniela Iacobelli and Amelia Lewis delivered, trading birdies back and forth for 18 holes before Iacobelli finally sealed the deal for her fifth Epson Tour victory and first since 2022.
One shot separated the pair heading down the 18th. Both players found the fairway off the tee, with Iacobelli once again applying the pressure, hitting her approach to 20 feet for birdie. Lewis's approach came up short of the green, and she hit her chip 15 feet past the hole. This seemed to swing wide open for Iacobelli as she had her eyes on a fifth Epson Tour trophy. Iacobelli rolled her putt 3-feet short, but it felt much longer once Lewis rolled in her par save to shoot a tournament record 8-under 64 in her final round.
The four-time Epson Tour champion stepped up to her 3-foot putt and rolled it in dead centre. A sense of relief was visible as Iacobelli embraced the water shower, that followed by her close friends, who were huddled around 18 green. The 36-year-old moves to second in the Race for the Card standings with only seven events to play. This puts her in a prime position to earn her LPGA Tour card for the third time.
"I still haven't figured out the word for it. When I figure out the word, I think I'll have to get back to you," said Iacobelli on her fifth Epson Tour win.
The Epson Tour now moves to New York State for the Twin Bridges Championship at Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland.
Men's professional tour results
PGA Tour & DP World Tour - The Genesis Scottish Open always proves to be a fantastic precursor to The Open championship. This year proved somewhat of a redemption for Scotland and Bob MacIntyre, after the disappointment of finishing one shot behind Rory McIlroy last year.
This year, MacIntyre was trailing Adam Scott by two shots with three holes to play at Renaissance Club. An eagle followed on the par 5 16th hole to draw level at 17-under-par.
The left-hander made an eagle on the par-five 16th following a brilliant approach shot, albeit only after a free drop from knee-high rough after discovering a sprinkler head near his ball. A par on the par 3 17th, meant that a birdie would be needed on the final hole. On a hole that MacIntyre had bogeyed on Thursday and Saturday, a birdie was potentially a hard ask. Were we headed for a play-off?
It should never have been in doubt and with the entire Scottish crowd behind him, the 27-year-old rolled his 20ft putt expertly down towards the hole and in for the birdie that he needed.
A win for MacIntrye and for Scotland! Speaking to Sky Sports after his victory:
"I think I lost my voice after the scream on that hole. I thought I was short.
"I've put a lot of work into this. I've changed a lot within the team and I've just worked hard. I wanted The Scottish Open.
"I got a bit of luck on 16 that you need - a bit of luck to win golf tournaments. I couldn't believe when I heard a sprinkler under my foot where my spike is at and I'm like no way.
"It was covered and I thought 'I got lucky'. It was meant to be.
"Next week is a new week but I tell you, I'm going to celebrate this with my family, friends, and everyone here. I'm going to celebrate this one hard. We'll pitch up to The Open when we pitch up to The Open."
PGA Tour & DP World Tour - It was a week of two co-sanctioned events on the PGA and DP World Tours, with the ISCO Championship taking place at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The event provides the opportunity for players from both tours to compete for benefits on both tours.
Heading into the final day, Pierceson Coody was looking for a wire-to-wire breakthrough victory but he found himself in a five-man play-off after Rico Hoey's bogey on the last hole. The play-off between Cody, Hoey, Matt NeSmith, Zac Blair and Harry Hall.
It took until the third play-off hole to find a winner as England's Harry Hall chipped in from the back of the par 3 9th hole for birdie, which NeSmith and Coody could not match.
The win comes the week before his wife Jordan is due to give birth to their first child. After his win Hall said:
"Due date's Friday. She's scheduled to induce on Tuesday just because I was at a point in the FedEx Cup where I kind of needed to play more," he said.
"She's a star and, hopefully, she can do whatever she wants now. I might not play next week. I probably won't."
All eyes will be on The 152nd Open Championship this week as the best male players in the world take on Royal Troon.
LIV Golf - Double win for Sergio Garcia
Sergio Garcia beat overnight leader Anirban Lahiri in a play-off to take the victory on home soil in Sotogrande, after putting his Open qualification disappointment behind him. It was a double win and a first for LIV as Garcia's Fireballs team also won the team title after winning a play-off over the Crushers. It was the first time that both the individual and team titles had been decided in a play-off.
Shot of the week
This week there were three holes-in-one at the Amundi Evian Championship, on Friday Taiwanese amateur Chun-Wei Wu aced the 5th hole, whilst England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff secured herself a Porsche Macan Turbo Electric car by holing her tee shot on the 16th!
However, we're giving the shot of the week to Peiyun Chien, who also holed out on the par 3 16th (unfortunately not winning the car) on Sunday but it was a long wait until the ball finally dropped!
Unfortunately, Bensel would go on to miss the cut at nine-over-par, but he definitely has a story that may just last a lifetime.
Moment of the week
We couldn't look much further than Bob MacIntyre holing a birdie on the last hole of the Genesis Scottish Open to win his National Open...
This week attention will be focused on The 152nd Open at Royal Troon, as the Scottish venue hosts the Major for the 10th time.
