Gabriella Cowley fired a final round 67 at Lalla Aicha Tour School in Marrakech, Morocco to regain her Ladies European Tour card for the 2018 season.

The former England international will be joined by Scotland's Vikki Laing and rookie Cloe Frankish as one of 25 qualifiers at the gruelling five-day event.

Cowley from London, England, ended in fourth spot on 10-under-par.

She said: “I’m so happy. I was four-over through 14 on the first day and my goal was to finish in the top five, so I’m delighted to get a good category for next year.”

Edinburgh's Vikki Laing, the oldest qualifier at 36, earned a comeback to the LET circuit with a joint ninth place finish on 352, a closing 69 sealing her return.
"I'm happy with the week's performance. I was hoping to get into the top five to give myself better status but I know I’ll have some starts next year. I am just happy to have hit a bit of form - albeit a little late in the year but I’ll take those thoughts into next year and hopefully get off to a quick start in the events I can get into."

America's Casey Danielson began the day with a two-stroke lead and carded a fifth round of 70 to tie for first place on 14-under-par 346 and force a play-off against Carmen Alonso and Manon Molle.

After the trio returned to the 18th hole, Alonso and Molle both missed their birdie chances, allowing Danielson to two-putt from 80 feet for birdie to claim the victory.
