Six British players have made it through to the final stage of Ladies European Tour school, after a strong showing at Mohammedia Golf Club, Casablanca.


Six British players have made it through to the final stage of Ladies European Tour school, after a strong showing at Mohammedia Golf Club, Casablanca.

The leading British player was Scot Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield Golf Club) who finished joint fifth on 296 (75-71-77-73) whilst compatriot Jane Turner finished joint 11th on 304 (72-75-78-79).

Former English Ladies Champion, Sarah Jane Boyd, comfortably made it through with a total of 301 for the 72-hole tournament, whilst Amber Ratcliffe, Sarah Attwood and Rebecca McGinely also made it passed the 31-player cut.

France's Justine Dreher was the leading qualifier with rounds of 73, 72, 73 and 71 for one-over-par 289. The Ladies European Tour School Final tournament will be held at two Marrakech, Morocco venues from December 18 to 21.
