Meghan MacLaren Takes Second Spot in Jordan Mixed Open

In a historic three-tour showdown, Meghan MacLaren shot a final round score of level par to take second spot in the historic Jordan Mixed Open presented by Ayla.

The 23-year-old, who is a champion for the strength of the women’s professional game, carded consecutive opening rounds of 65 to take a two-shot lead into the final round of the Jordan Mixed Open

Starting the final round on 14-under-par and two ahead of Challenge Tour player Daan Huizing, MacLaren was fast out of the starting blocks on Saturday's final round, opening with birdies at the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th. That momentum didn't quite continue through the back nine though. After a bogey at hole ten and a double-bogey at the 11th, MacLaren finally signed for a level-par round of 72.

The Englishwoman finished two shots behind Daan Huizing.
