Both Meghan MacLaren and Felicity Johnson both put in strong performances and finished in the top 10 at the Clutch Pro Tour event at Sandwell Park on June 22.

Johnson finished T5 and Maclaren T8 meaning both walked away with a cut of the prize money.

The pair were tying for the lead at one point too.

There was some tremendous shooting going on in both their rounds, with Johnson scoring five birdies in a row and MacLaren scoring two back-to-back eagles.

Speaking about her eagles on twitter MacLaren said:

“Not sure I've never had two in one round before never mind in a row #golflife.”

She also gave a shout out to her sister Rebecca for being her caddie for the day.

Meanwhile, Clutch Pro Tour Tom Hayward said:

“We are proud to offer a platform for male and female professionals, and it’s brilliant to see the ladies in the mix alongside the men, pushing for the win on a very tough course and in tricky conditions.”

The next event on the tour is at Notts Hollinwell on June 29 and we can’t wait to see what it brings.
