Play was forced to be delayed today at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational after a van transporting players to the tournament got lost en route to the course. 


Play was forced to be delayed today at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational after a van transporting players to the tournament got lost en route to the course.

According to a tweet from Golf Channel's Tom Abbott, a van transporting players to the event got lost and then stuck in traffic. The vehicle departed the Official players hotel at 9.30am and arrived to Club de Golf Mexico City at 11.46am. The ride to the c usually taking 15-20 minutes.

One of those players was Angela Stanford, who started the day one stroke behind leader Minjee Lee.

Stanford tweeted: ''Learning that GPS is a wonderful thing. Hour in a bus and still no sign of the golf course.''

Inbee Park is currently outright leader in the tournament on 10-under par, 3 shots ahead of compatriot Sei Young Kim.
