Jessica Korda and husband Johnny DelPrete have announced the safe arrival of their baby boy

Jessica Korda and her husband Johnny DelPrete took to their social media channels on Monday 5th February to announce the safe arrival of their baby boy - the post simply said Greyson John DelPrete 🤍2.3.24🤍

Congratulations messages poured in from across the golf world for the six-time LPGA tour winner. Korda, who married DelPrete in December 2021, announced that she was pregnant with a boy back in August 2023. At the time Korda was taking time out from golf due to an ongoing back injury which had sidelined her since May.

At the time she said:

"The last year has been an extremely challenging time for me as I struggle with an injury in my back. Following the advice of my doctor and the guidance of my physio, we've committed countless hours of treatment at home and on the road for me to try and get my body healthy and ready to compete each week.

"Unfortunately, we've reached a point where the pain is not improving, forcing me to withdraw from several tournaments. As a competitor, it is upsetting to have to do this time and time again. At the advice of my medical team, I have made the tough decision to stop playing until I can get my back fully healthy.

"At this point, we don't have a firm timeframe for my return but I'm working with the best of the best and am focused on coming back as soon as possible."

Now is the time for the 30-year-old to focus on her new baby but we're sure that the fairways will be calling her back soon.

Everyone at Women & Golf wishes Jessica and Johnny all the best as they venture into parenthood.
