It looks like Michelle Wie has decided to ditch her characteristic table-top putting stance ahead of this week's ISPS HANDA Australian Open.
The move comes after a dismal putting performance in the opening LPGA event, the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic, where she failed to make the cut despite hitting 34 out of 36 greens.
Michelle Wie will be starting the tournament with a more orthodox claw grip, similar to that used by Sergio Garcia, coupled with a more upright stance. The American has been spotting practicing with the new set-up ahead of this week's LPGA event, which gets underway tomorrow at Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
One of the most recognisable figures in the game, Wie is coming off her worst year to date, where she finished 105th on the LPGA money list.
