Only two out of eight British players competing at LPGA Final Qualifying have managed to make the fourth round cut and keep their hopes of securing a tour card alive.

England's Holly Clyburn from Cleethorpes, is currently placed in 29th position after a solid 71 and will be hoping that a good round tomorrow will move her into the top-20 and thus secure herself full-playing rights on the LPGA Tour next year. Becky Morgan from Wales also kept her LPGA dreams intact after a 72 for joint 34th.

Kylie Walker's hopes of playing on the LPGA Tour next year were shattered however when she had a nightmare fourth round of nine-over-par 81 for eight-over 296 and missed the cut to the leading 70 and ties for the final round at Daytona Beach, Florida.

Walker, after rounds of 70, 74 and 71, was handily placed on joint 34th position and seemingly certain of a place in the decisive final round at the end of which only the leading 20 and ties will earn full playing rights on the 2016 LPGA Tour.

But the Glasgow player slumped from joint 38th to sharing 118th with a round that included a quadruple bogey 8 at the par-4 sixth, and double bogeys 5 and 7 at the short seventh and long 14th respectively.

Walker's Scottish compatriots also failed to make the cut. Aberdeen-born Gemma Dryburgh finished in joint 92nd position whilst Sally Watson, originally from Edinburgh, shot a 72 to join Dryburgh and Stephanie Meadow (Northern Ireland) on the 294 mark.

Leading the field by five shots on 15-under 273 is China's Florida-based Simin Feng who had a fourth-round 69.
