Management company Jenahura has announced the signing of their first female professional golfer: 19-year-old Ladies European Tour player, Cloe Frankish.
Frankish joins Team Jenahura at an exciting time in her career having successfully earned her Ladies European Tour playing privileges for 2019 via the LET Access Series last season.
The management and sponsorship agreement will see Jenahura manage Frankish and also provide her with sponsorship via the Jenahura Tour Academy, which officially launches on 4 February 2019. Frankish will wear the Jenahura Tour Academy logo on her apparel.
Frankish turned professional in 2016 at Lalla Aicha Tour School at the age of 17. Last year, she qualified impressively to compete in the 2018 Women’s British Open where she made the cut, eventually finishing in a tie for 64th place in her first major championship. During her amateur career, Cloe won the English Girls Championship two years in a row including a record-breaking 12-shot win in 2015! In the same year, she won the Scottish Ladies Open by 7-shots.
Martyn Norris, Group Managing Director at Jenahura commented, "I only needed to watch Cloe hit half a dozen shots to see that she possesses a special talent. Cloe’s coach, Paul Holland who has also guided Team Jenahura star Richard McEvoy to European Tour success cannot speak highly enough about Cloe describing her as completely fearless."
"You just cannot teach fearlessness and this quality combined with her powerful swing will give her a great chance to succeed at the very highest level of the Ladies professional game."
"We believe she will do just that and are equally excited to have her join our outstanding team of talented, hard-working individuals."
Frankish said, “I’m really happy to join Jenahura. They have a great team of people and that is just what I need. It’s been a long winter and I can’t wait to get going now. I am flying to Dubai next week to practice before starting my season at Bonville Golf Resort in Australia on 21st February. I’m very excited!”
The contract was signed at Chart Hills Golf Club where Cloe receives fantastic support from the club and members.
