Spain's Carlota Ciganda shot 5-under par in the third round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai on Saturday to share the lead with Sei Young Kim at 11-under.
Ciganda fifth birdie of the day came on the par-4 18th to finish tied with overnight leader Kim. The South Korean shot a 1-under 71 in an up and down round consisting of four bogeys and five birdies.
Ciganda is looking for her third LPGA title this week and her first since 2016 when she had two wins in the same month. Kim is chasing her eighth career LPGA win and second title this season.
Angel Yin carded back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 to sign for a 68 which put her one stroke behind the leading pair alongside Brittany Altomare (69), Danielle Kang (71) and Ariya Jutanugarn (71).
Local favourite Yu Liu finished the day in 7th after offsetting a lone bogey with four birdies for a 69.
After a round of 71 on Saturday, England's Bronte Law currently holds 8th spot alongside Paula Creamer and Minjee Lee at 8-under par.
The Buick LPGA Shanghai is the second of five tournaments being played in Asia this year, with South Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan also on the tours' schedule.
