The American won the Marathon Classic just a week after lifting the trophy at the Drive On Championship.

2020 seems to be the year of back-to-back wins in the women’s game.
Following Gemma Dryburgh and Georgia Hall’s double victories on the Rose Ladies Series, American Danielle Kang has topped the leaderboard at two consecutive LPGA events, two weeks in a row.
The week’s Marathon Classic (August 6 to 9) at Highlands Meadow, Ohio, finished with Danielle in first place and New Zealand’s Lydia Ko and England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff tied for second.
Danielle also won the Drive On Championship at Inverness, Ohio the week before, too. This keeps her securely at second in the world rankings, and also as the highest-ranked American female player.
Going into the final day it looked like Lydia Ko was poised for her first win in two years. But after a double bogey on the final hole, it was Danielle who made her third win in ten months (she also bagged the trophy at the Buick LPGA Shanghai in October).
Now due to compete on the Ladies Scottish Open this week at The Renaissance Club, could she make it three wins in a row?
She’s one to watch for sure.
