Jodi Ewart Shadoff 2019 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open

England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff leads the field after day one of the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at 7-under, joined by Wei-Ling Hsu from Chinese Taipei.

Two-time European Solheim Cup player, Jodi Ewart Shadoff carded a bogey-free round of 65 to take the lead early in the day. She was later joined at the top of the leaderboard by Wei-Ling Hsu after a reel off eight birdies over her final 15 holes.

A trio of players sits hot on their heels at 5-under par, led by five-time Australian Women’s Open champion and Australian legend Karrie Webb. She is looking for her first LPGA win since 2014 and is joined by Madelene Sagstrom from Sweden and England’s Bronte Law. Could either of the Europeans have pathed the way to their first LPGA victory this weekend?
