La Cala Resort, Andalucía has launched their new five day Golf Summer Camps, inviting children staying at the hotel aged 5-14 to learn how to putt like the pros from €235 (approx £172) per child from 29 June to 14 August.
Surrounded by spectacular scenery and with plenty to do on site, families can stay at the hotel from just €134 (approx £98) per room, per night with one child staying complimentary.
Whether a complete beginner or a budding golf champion, children can learn skills from chipping and putting, to the rules and etiquette of golf at the unique Summer Camp. Classes take place at La Cala’s onsite Golf Academy that has multilingual professionals on hand to help the youngsters improve their game.
Complimentary golfing equipment including clubs, balls and an academy polo shirt is included with a three course lunch and transfers from the Academy to the Club House each day ensuring parents don’t have to organise a thing. At the end of the fun filled week, children are awarded for their efforts with a Diploma in the prize giving ceremony.
La Cala Resort boasts three 18 hole championship courses, designed by one of the most prestigious golf designers in Europe, Cabell Robinson. The hotel also has two swimming pools, a FIFA football pitch, tennis and squash facilities and an extensive spa with incredible views, that offers complimentary use for exhausted parents in need of pampering.
And while mum and dad are relaxing, there is also a kids’ mini club is open from 10am to 6pm, six days a week, and will keep the children from 4-11 years old entertained with activities including water sports, crafts, discos and more!
