Royal & Awesome, Scotland's dazzling golf clothing brand, is gearing up for another fun-packed year of fundraising after extending its relationship with leading children's medical research charity Sparks.

The colourful apparel brand is set to announce an exciting new programme of innovative events for 2015, as well as continuing to back the charity's popular Sparks Golf Challenge, where teams of two or more play as many golf holes as possible in one day.

Royal & Awesome has supported Sparks at a number of big fundraising golf events in 2014 including one at Fulwell Golf Club, which raised an impressive £20,000 with almost 50 golfers completing four rounds in a day at the 110-year-old club.

In addition, it has provided outfits for participants, prizes for events and played a key role in promoting the Sparks Golf Challenge, including offering each team member a pair of trousers should they raise more than £400 in their challenge.

Brand director Graeme Smeaton said: "When you consider all the good work the money helps fund, it is easy to see why we were keen to continue to support Sparks. Royal & Awesome clothing helps to add a real dash of colour to golf fundraising efforts and we are delighted to be able to confirm our partnership and support for Sparks golf initiatives for another year."

Royal & Awesome's range of eye-catching golf trousers, shorts and hats is ‘perfect for the pars and the bars'. The brand also boasts a collection of plus-twos as well as women's trousers, shorts and skorts in dazzling designs, complemented by a selection of shirts, socks and belts.

The ‘Awesomes' - the brand's range of brightly designed golf trousers - build on the wonderful heritage and history of golf in Scotland by adding a whole lot of fun and colour, and are guaranteed to make an impact on the course, the clubhouse or the corporate jolly. All of the ‘bottoms' come with a free golf tool/bottle opener, which is a nod to the strap line of ‘for the pars and the bars'.

Daniel Smith, senior events manager for golf at Sparks, added: "We cannot thank the guys at Royal & Awesome enough for the awesome support they have given us throughout 2014 and we're looking forward to an equally beneficial partnership in 2015. The support of Royal & Awesome adds an extra aspect to our golf events and is of great help in raising awareness of events and the work Sparks does."
