On Course Foundation has partnered with National Golf Month. The Foundation helps injured and sick Service personnel and veterans progress their rehabilitation using golf skills and employment training.

With 85% of Foundation members having never played golf before it is uniquely placed to advocate the mental and physical health benefits and is delighted to support National Golf Month and its drive to increase participation in golf.

Steve Holt, Managing Director of On Course Foundation comments, “Golf is one of very few sports where all abilities can play and compete together so it is a perfect sport for wounded, injured and sick Service personnel. The camaraderie and confidence that can be found on the golf course is unique so we’ll be showing our full support for National Golf Month and its drive to introduce new players to a game that has given so much to our members.”

Doug Poole, Director of National Golf Month said, “On Course Foundation is a fantastic charity that embodies all that is great about golf. The members show that golf is truly a game for anyone who wants to get involved and I’m proud to have them as a partner for our work.”

On Course Foundation will be encouraging all of its members to take part in the National Golf Month 30ft Putt Challenge, making the most of their social media channels to share their inventive putts.
