Magnolia Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club have partnered with the Oxford Children’s Hospital at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxfordshire to help raise the awareness and increase much needed donations.
The facility is one of the UK’s purpose-built specialist children’s hospitals - one of a handful of specialist children’s hospitals in Britain, treating thousands of sick children from the local area and across the country each year.
Charitable funding supported the building of the Children’s Hospital, enabling their facilities to be far superior to anything the NHS could currently support. With money raised from generous businesses and individuals, the hospital looks to enhance the facility in order to provide a safe and protective environment for every child and their family. Every penny raised goes towards developing this already outstanding service.
Magnolia Park Celebrity Charity Golf Day
To coincide with the partnership, Magnolia Park have announced a Celebrity Charity Golf Day hosted by two time major winner and Ryder Cup winning Tony Jacklin, at the golf club on Friday 8th May to celebrate the opening of their new Best Western Plus Hotel. The day is designed to raise money and awareness for The Oxfords Children’s Hospital.
Tony Jacklin, ambassador for Magnolia Park, alongside a host of other top sporting and showbiz names will be in attendance at the club to enjoy a leisurely day of golf, 3-course Gala Dinner and a stay in the new hotel. The day will comprise of a trick shot pro, a golf tournament and a 'Beat the Pro' competition, all to raise funds for the hospital.
