Shanshan Feng tied for the low-round of the day with an 8-under 63 to claim the 2014 Sime Darby LPGA championship in Malaysia and players from the UK earned a few more dollars!

Without the pressure of playing at home in her native China, Shanshan Feng tied for low-round of the day with an 8-under 63 to claim the 2014 Sime Darby LPGA championship. Thanks to a 6-under back nine, one that included an eagle on 16, Feng seized control of the tournament on the way to her fourth career victory.

Out of the UK contingent Catriona Matthew finished tied 27th on 280 with scores of 68, 68, 73 and 71. The North Berwick player earned $16,662 for finishing 14 strokes behind the winner by three of the $300,000 first prize.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff finished joint 36 on 282 with scores of 69, 64, 72 and 77. That last round cost the Yorkshire-born player a lot of dollars. She earned $11,447.

Laura Davies earned $5,663 for a 57th place finish on 288 with scores of 71, 75, 68 and 74.
Charley Hull finished joint 58 on 289 with scores of 72, 76, 74 and 67. She earned $5,259
