LET Access Series

Sweden's Emma Westin won for the second time on the LET Access Series, with a record breaking eleven shot victory, finishing at 11 under par in the HLR Golf Academy Open at Hillside Golf & Country Club in Vihti, Finland on Sunday.

Westin started the final day with an eight shot lead, which she further extended with birdies on the 1st and 2nd holes in the final round. With such a solid start, it would be difficult for anyone in the field to catch the young Swede. Westin matched three more birdies on the 7th, 11th and 12th with three bogeys on the 5th, 10th and 14th but was never under any pressure. With such a magnificent performance, Westin's winning margin broke the current LETAS record by six shots. It also moved the 23-year-old into 2nd place on the LETAS Order of Merit.

The top four places are now held by Swedish players, Isabella Ramsay retains top spot with 20501.43 points, just over one thousand points ahead of Westin. Ramsay will miss next week's Mineks & Regnum Ladies Classic in Turkey as she will compete in the LET's Helsingborg Open, held at Vasatorp Golf Club in Sweden.

Scotland's Jane Turner produced her best result on LETAS in her rookie season, with a closing 72, to finish at even par. Turner's previous best performance was a tie for 21st in the Kristianstad Ahus Ladies PGA Open in Sweden in May.

Germany's Isabell Gabsa shot 70, to finish at one over par and third place on her own. Local favourite Finland's Kaisa Ruuttila, Daisy Nielsen from Denmark and Norwegian amateur Tonje Daffinrud finished tied for fourth place at +2, 215. Daffinrud will represent Norway in the World Amateur Championship, which start in Japan on the 3rd September.

Italy's Stefania Avanzo and Maria Beautell from Spain finished at three over par and a tie for 7th place. Four players, Caroline Rominger from Switzerland, Austria's Nina Muehl, Kiran Matharu from England and Italy's Vittoria Valvassori finished in 9th position.
