Most of the Scots on the 2015 Ladies European Tour use the Tartan Tour as a stepping stone, but Alford's Laura Murray says she will continue to play the domestic circuit that has been so good to her.

Laura won twice on the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Ladies Tour last season and it has helped her reach the top level.

"I'm looking forward to playing in the Ladies' Tartan Tour events again this year," said Laura. They were so beneficial to my season last year. Where the LET schedule allows me, I will play in as many of the Scottish events as possible. Thanks to the sponsors for making this tour possible again this year.

"It's so important to keep growing the tour, offering lady pros and amateurs the chance to improve their game in competition so that they too will one day be ready for the LET Q School. I'm looking forward to playing some of Scotland's hidden gem golf courses, alongside some high calibre players."

The 2015 Ladies' Tartan Tour will start and finish in the North-east of Scotland. There will be five 36-hole events with the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre sponsoring the opening tournament, at Murcar Links on April 1 and 2, and also the Tour Championship - which will be named the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Ladies Invitational - a Deeside Golf Club, where Paul is an honorary member, over two rounds of September 15 and 16.

Places in the latter event will be awarded to the top 21 in the Ladies' Tartan Tour Order of Merit after the first four tournaments of the year. If anyone of the top 21 has to decline, their place will be awarded to the next on the Order of Merit.

The professional entry fee to each event will remain at £75 but the amateur entry fee will come down to £50.

Amateurs will no longer be eligible to gain a prize voucher to the value of the professional prize for that placing. If an amateur finishes on a tournament prize list, she will receive a £20 voucher. Tour membership fees will be the same as last year.

The provisional 2015 Ladies Tartan Tour schedule is:

April 1-2: Murcar Links
April 6-7: Montrose Links.
June 2-3: Venue to be confirmed.
June 24-25: Marriott Dalmahoy
September 16-17: Deeside
