Your Golf Travel has created a collection of new golf break products designed specifically with families in mind that will mean free golf and accommodation for children.
The campaign has been endorsed by England Golf and is the result of an objective shared by the two companies to make golf more accessible for new and young players. Nine resorts across the country will be available for families to visit during school holiday periods.
The offer is standardised across all of the participating resorts, each of which is part of the QHotels group, with children under sixteen years old benefiting from complimentary accommodation and a round of golf when accompanied by at least one paying adult. Free range balls will be available for kids at selected resorts, while there will also be the opportunity to add tuition from a PGA Professional as part of the itinerary.
Prestigious resorts like Slaley Hall, Forest Pines and Belton Woods are among those signed up to be involved, meaning that the quality of facilities will be ideally suited to introducing the game to novices or aiding the development of existing players. Prices for paying adults start from £79 per person to include dinner, bed, breakfast and golf.
Your Golf Travel’s Director of Product, Andrew Smith, said that “the scheme is a wonderful way for parents to, first and foremost, plan something fun for the holidays but it also means that the kids can get access to golf facilities and courses with the right kind of supervision and expertise. Whether it’s for beginners or children that have already picked up the game, these breaks should be a lot of fun. We’re delighted to contribute towards participation and also thank QHotels for their support.”
