Women In Golf Awards 2023

The Women in Golf Awards will take place at Walton Heath Golf Club on the evening of Tuesday, August 8, during a week when the golf industry comes together to celebrate Women and Girls Golf Week.

“We are incredibly excited to bring the awards to Walton Heath Golf Club during the week of a Major women's championship and at a time when we are putting a focus on women and girls golf” commented Nicole Wheatley co-founder of the Women in Golf Awards.

“It’s a fitting location to recognise the women, brands and places making a difference in the world of golf, alongside the very best players in the world.  The awards will be a marvellous celebration of all sectors of the sport and is a fantastic opportunity for women, and men, to come together to recognise the wonderful work that goes on every day in golf.”

There will be a total of ten awards presented on the night.  In a change from the inaugural event, men will be invited to attend in a move designed to connect the women who are rising stars of the industry with the mostly male decision makers.

Similarly, undergraduates and women who may consider a future career in golf will be among the guests invited to attend as a way of showcasing the diverse job opportunities available in the industry.

Nominations for the Women in Golf Awards 2023 are now open and will be hosted through a new website www.womeningolfawards.com.  For more information about the awards, including sponsorship opportunities please contact [email protected]

About the Women in Golf Awards

The Women in Golf Awards is an annual event celebrating the significant contribution that women, past and present, continue to make to the golf industry.  The event was established by Nicole Wheatley and Ben Blackburn whose combined experience in the golf world led them to identify a need to create a platform that would connect, celebrate and inspire current and future generations.  The Awards bring together women at all stages of their careers, from every sector, showing the diverse nature of the roles women hold in the industry.
