The PING G30 has been the top-selling driver, fairway wood, hybrid and iron in terms of both value and units since the introduction of the family to the market in August last year.

According to Golf Datatech LLC, which tracks golf equipment sell-through data for the United Kingdom, G30 has topped four of the major hardware product categories over the past 12 months, with PING as a whole achieving the number one selling brand position in terms of value (24.1%) and volume (21.1%) across all clubs.

“The G30 family has now been in the marketplace for a full year and it continues to be the number one choice in golf shops,” said John Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO. “That success is very satisfying, knowing so many golfers are benefiting from the technology of the G30. It’s a tribute to our engineering team and to the hundreds of club fitters around the country who take the time to properly fit their customers for the correct woods and irons. Their ability to match the head technology with the proper shaft is allowing golfers of all skill levels to see significant distance and accuracy gains, finding more fairways and greens than ever.”

The G30 driver is offered in three head options to custom-fit golfers. The standard G30 head, the G30 SF Tec head, which helps produce a right-to-left shape (for right-handed golfers), and the G30 LS Tec head, which is engineered to provide low, stable spin for added control. All three options are adjustable for loft and feature Turbulator Technology, a T9S titanium face and a low/back centre of gravity.

The G30 fairway wood comes in 3-wood, 5-wood and 7-wood and utilises a hotter, more forgiving Carpenter 475 face to maximise deflection, increase ball speed and generate distance with control. All three are adjustable for loft and also feature Turbulator Technology to help with aim and alignment to inspire confidence.

The G30 hybrid comes in 5 lofts and utilises progressive CG locations and offsets to ensure efficient gapping and trajectories that maximise distance. A flatter top rail inspires confidence, with a high heel section providing a square face at address that aids aim and alignment consistency.

The G30 irons are built for distance and control, featuring progressive lengths and lofts and a thin face to optimise launch conditions and generate faster ball speeds. The highly forgiving, perimeter-weighted design also utilises a soft, elastomer cavity badge to provide exceptional feel and sound.
