The Dorset Golf Resort offers 27 holes of championship golf, a combination of 5-star log homes & cottages with private sauna’s, and a superb locally sourced menu, the combination of which is clearly a winning one as the resort boasts a 65% repeat booking rate. 

For discerning golfers, the resort’s three 9-hole courses present a unique test of ability whatever time of the year. Designed by world-renowned Martin Hawtree, the Lakeland, Parkland and Woodland Courses incorporate tricky clover shaped bunkers and large and deceptive undulating greens, with lakes coming into play on many of the holes. Course designer Martin Hawtree received international acclaim for his excellent work in re-designing the British Open courses and more recently the design of the 5-star Trump International Links in Aberdeen. He is certainly rated as one of the best designers in the world today, so in design terms the courses at The Dorset Golf Resort have a pedigree that is undeniable.

With four sets of tees, the courses can be set up to play at multiple levels of difficulty, though the resort has had its fair share of action from the back tees having hosted numerous championship events; Justin Rose even held the course record briefly, shooting a gross 69 from the back tees after playing in a Tour event at the club.
