The Celebrity Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales is back this year and bigger than ever! On the 4th – 5th July, celebrities from around the globe will descend on the luxury resort to entertain the crowds.
Mixing golf with glamour and swapping the paparazzi for a putter, The Celebrity Cup pits stars of sport and entertainment from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales against each other on the famous Roman Road golf course.
Real Madrid and Wales football superstar Gareth Bale has just announced he will be competing for the home nation against the likes of TV presenters Vernon Kay and Ben Shephard, Boyzone singer Ronan Keating and Scottish soccer legends Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen and Gordon Strachan.
Celebrities flying the flag for Wales, on home soil, will be comic Rob Brydon and television stars Gethin Jones and Philip Glenister. Last year’s champions, Team England, are captained once again by Rugby World Cup winner Mike Tindall, who will line up with TV stars Peter Jones and Vernon Kay.
