The 2017 La Manga Club International Pro-Am will take place from 6th to 10th March with 20 teams competing across the leading Spanish resort’s acclaimed North and South courses.

The announcement of the fourth edition of the pro-am comes not long after the resort’s five-star Príncipe Felipe Hotel was nominated in the third World Golf Awards in the ‘Spain’s Best Golf Hotel’ category – an honour that it has won the last two years – with the South Course being shortlisted for the award of ‘Spain’s Best Golf Course’.

The resort continues to undergo exciting development including the recent opening of the new La Manga Club Golf Training Centre, led by PGA of Sweden professional, Thomas Johansson, Anthony McCarthy (PGA of GB&I) and Anders Thelberg (PGA of Norway).

Pro-am competitors will get to enjoy the testing North Course as well as two rounds on the renowned South Course – the site of Arnold Palmer’s 1975 Spanish Open win and also where he redesigned the course in 1996.

Eduardo Ruiz, director of golf at La Manga Club, said:

“It gives us great pride that this tournament is celebrating its fourth year at La Manga Club. It is a great opportunity for amateur and professional golfers from all over Europe to compete on the resort’s internationally-renowned golf facilities. This year the competition was very close, and we’re hoping to see that same level of excitement from those taking part in 2017.”

Pro-Am packages for teams of one professional and three amateurs are available priced from €1099 per amateur (free for professionals), but golfers can take advantage of an early booking offer of €1,049 when booking before 15th December. The Pro-Am participation fee for amateurs includes:
