Your local club can sign up to join the global celebration and host an event on September 1 for FREE if they register before the end of the month.

The original Women’s Golf Day celebration, planned for June 3, was forced to go virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And while it was super fun tuning in to all the video tips and interviews, it wasn’t quite the same as gathering with our friends to play the game we love.

So, we’re excited to see that plans for a LIVE Women’s Golf Day celebration on September 1 are being put into action.

Wondering how you can get involved? Well, here is everything you need to know.

If you’re looking to find an event in your local area, all you need to do is visit www.womensgolfday.com and click on ‘find a location’ to view all the clubs in your area who have registered to host an official Women’s Golf Day event.

Each listing also includes contacts details, so once you’ve settled on where you’d like to go, you simply need to reach out to the club themselves and let them know you’re interested in coming along.

Or, if you think your club would be a great place for marking the global celebration, make sure you let them know that they still have time to sign up.

Registration to host an event is free before August 1 (after that it will be a minimum cost of around £60) when using the code WGD2020.

Signing up gets your club a designated page on Womens Golf Day website, access to a digital marketing toolkit, media coverage, merchandise discounts and much more.

Finally, wherever you decide to celebrate the big day, don’t forget to recruit a few friends to come along with you.

Many participating clubs will be hosting have-a-go sessions, fashion shows, coffee mornings much more.

It could be the perfect opportunity to show those friends who have never tried golf exactly what they are missing out on.
