Europe’s largest annual multi sports festival for businesses, the UK Corporate Games, is this year being hosted by Nottingham, and will be taking place between the 6th-9th July.
The Games, which are supported by Olympic gold medallist Helen Richardson-Walsh, will see athletes compete under the banner of their company, and is a great opportunity to foster togetherness between co-workers.
Among the sports on this year’s roster is golf, which will take place over two days at Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club and Norwood Park Golf Centre. There are both female and male prizes up for grabs, with category 1 & 2 entering the stroke play event, while higher handicappers will participate in a stableford tournament.
Golfers will compete both for points for their organisation and medals for themselves. The Medalist Award is presented to the organisation winning the most medals.
The UK Corporate Games is legendary for its exciting celebrations like the SuperCentre, Great Games Party, Grand Parade and Closing Awards.
Competition is open to all, with organisations, businesses, national and multinational companies, retailers, government agencies, partnerships and sports clubs all eligible to enter. Teams can include employees, colleagues, clients, family and friends. There are no qualifying standards.
