Ian Poulter has long been known for his eye-catching attire on the golf course, but it appears that his stint as a fashion designer is coming to an end.
Just over a decade after launching Ian Poulter Designs, the Ryder Cup star issued a tweet announcing that the clothing line would be disbanded from the start of next month.
We are sad to announce @IJPDesign is closing down. We'd like to thank all of our loyal customers who have supported us over the years. pic.twitter.com/R75mkar9ak

"It has always been our aim to run a unique and high quality product business that reflected my personality and passion for the game of golf, and my love of fashion both on and off the course," Poulter wrote.
"Ultimately, however, we have been unable to justify its continuation after many years of investing in the business and a number of attempts to reshape it against an ever-increasingly competitive landscape."
As a result of the closure, a huge sale has been launched on the brand’s website.
