We're still buzzing from the brilliant news that former US Open-champion Justin Rose and his wife Kate are sponsoring professional women's golf events across England this summer and to top it all off, we've just found out that the ten-date tour concludes with a ground-breaking Grand Final.
The venues for the three-day 54 hole final have also now been confirmed as North Hants, The Berkshire and the Wentworth West Course.
The conclusion on August 7 will be the first professional women's event to ever be played on this very exclusive course.
The Rose Ladies Series schedule is as follows:
June 18 - Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club
June 25 - Moor Park Golf Club
July 2 - Buckinghamshire Golf Club
July 9 - Royal St George’s
July 16 - JCB Golf and Country Club
July 23 - Bearwood Lakes Golf Club
July 30 - The Shire London
Grand Final - Race to the West
August 5 - North Hants Golf Club
August 6 - The Berkshire Golf Club
August 7 - Wentworth Golf Club (West)
All the venues have offered up their courses for free, including Royal St George's where the Open was set to take place before the Coronavirus pandemic hit.
The tournament at Brokenhurst Manor was originally created by Ladies European Tour player Liz Young and the club's pro Jason MacNiven. When Rose heard they were looking for a sponsor and broadcaster he decided to step in and help, and the rest of the tour formed from there.
We can't thank Justin and Kate enough for their generosity and their support for women's golf.
