American Golf is celebrating Father's Day by giving dads and their kids the chance to win £300 in American Golf vouchers.

Father's Day is coming up on Sunday June 21 (you can thank us for the reminder later) and this year, golfing brand American Golf has come up with a special way of celebrating the special bond that comes from Fathers playing golf with their children.

The Golf with Dad competition has been launched in collaboration with Andy and Riley Banks, the curators and stars of Instagram channel @Father_Son_Golf.

Andy and Rliey’s channel has followed their golfing journey for the past three years, gaining a following of golfers who enjoy watching how their game progresses, how much fun they have playing together and perhaps most importantly the bond between them that this has created.

American Golf is aiming to promote this bond that golf can create as we lead up to Father's Day.

The retailer wants us to post pictures of dads and sons and daughters playing golf together on the course, at the range or even in the garden, and post on their social feed tagging @American_golf, @father_son_golf and also the hashtag #GolfWithDad.

American Golf will then share their favourites and on June 26, Andy and Riley will choose the winner of £300 American Golf vouchers.
Speaking about how close he has grown to his son through golf, Andy said:

“Just getting away from the stresses of modern life and playing golf with your son or daughter is very special and something I will never take for granted. These moments are something we will treasure forever and can honestly say our relationship as father and son has flourished because of the game. Looking back on our journey you realise golf is more than just a game; it teaches essential life skills. I am extremely grateful I get to play golf with my ‘little best mate.’”

There's also no age limit to the category, so dads and grown-up kids are welcome to take part.
