There was an amazing achievement at Mid-Herts Golf Club, Wheathampstead, Herts when Janet Biscoe scored a hole-in-one with her seven wood on the 8th hole, a 144-yard par-3 for ladies.

Then, unbelievably, she scored ANOTHER hole-in-one on the same hole with the same club and the same ball two days later! An expensive couple of days for Janet but as you would guess this has been cushioned by such an amazing achievement!

Janet, who plays off a handicap of 12, and has been a member at Mid-Herts Golf  Club for 12 years, said:

"I am absolutely chuffed to bits and on a high. The excitement and thrill of getting a hole in one on Tuesday was incredible.  Who would have believed I would do it again just two days later? As we stood on  the tee, my playing partners jokingly asked if I would do it again and I said 'I will certainly try!"

Actuaries have calculated the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one at approximately 12,500 to 1. Who knows what the odds are of what Janet has achieved? It's estimated to be about 67 million to one.
