Evian have annouced the final three wild cards for the championship this week. Minjee Lee, Céline Boutier, and Joanna Klatten complete the field of 120 players ready to compete at the final Major.
The organising committee of the Evian Championship has awarded the three final wild cards.
Minjee Lee – Australian Amateur – 18 years old
No. 1 in the amateur world rankings after her victory at the Oates Victorian Open on the ALPG Tour
Winner of the US Girls’ Junior in 2012 and the Australian Women’s Amateur in 2013 and 2014
Two Top 25 showings in the 2014 Majors: 22nd at the US Women's Open, 24th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship
Céline Boutier – French Amateur – 20 years old
No. 5 and best in France among the global amateur rankings
An impressive trifecta with three university wins between March and April 2014 in the United States
Winner of the American college championship with her team at Duke University (North Carolina)
Voted best college player of the season USA 2013/2014
Winner in 2012 of the European Ladies Amateur in Slovenia
Joanna Klatten – French – 29 years old
Turned pro in 2011
In 2012, winner of the Women’s Victorian Open on the ALPG, with three Top 3 finishes on the European Tour
In 2013, finished 13th in the European rankings and won entry to the American circuit
Currently 99th on the LPGA Tour’s Money List in her first year on the American circuit
The field of 120 players is now nearly complete - all that remains is one place that will be awarded to the winner of Helsingborg Open.
